Haha! When do you think this update would be ready?
Also how exactly do the pistons work? Is there a way to control them?
There is a way to control them. You essentially assign a key to each direction, and can use them during the simulation. This should be in the next patch, which will be soon.

This update looks like it can really help the game as far as movement goes, so are there any other ways of moving your robot you are thinking about?
There are a few things I am considering for the future, but I don’t want to mention them until I’ve had a chance to test it a bit.
